Working in this customer facing role, our Service Advisor will have both sales and service responsibilities. They are the first point of contact for our customers so it's vital they provide a welcoming experience. Our customers deserve the best and we don't let them down! For this role we're looking for a self-motivated Service Advisor with previous experience within the Automotive Industry. The ideal candidate must be a team player and be able to produce work to a high standard to maintain our customer's high expectations.

    Candidate Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • The ability to accurately follow written and spoken instructions
  • Strong practical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Full driving licence

    Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the workshop time is fully utilised, calculating charges for parts, labour, service repairs and providing necessary estimates customers. Finalising the outcome with the customer and collecting payment
  • Advising customers on technical queries / issues and supporting them both over the phone and face to face
  • Establishing a clear understanding of symptoms / problems the customer is experiencing with their vehicle and liaise accordingly with the Technicians
  • Taking bookings for courtesy cars and checking them in and out with each customer
  • Advising of and selling additional work required to be carried out
  • Communicating technical information in a clear and concise way
  • Liaison with the Workshop, suppliers and warranty companies
  • Booking in vehicle services, MOT's and repairs
  • Maintaining up to date documentation

Times

Hours for this role are Monday - Friday 08:30 - 18:00
